With the renowned oboist Alexei Ogrintchouk the Rotterdam Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Conrad van Alphen, records the reconstruction of Beethoven’s sketches of the second movement of his oboe concerto.
Sinfonia Rotterdam, Doelen Quartet and Arjan Woudenberg record with Conrad van Alphen the “Kammerkonzert” for clarinet, string quartet and orchestra by Karl Amadeus Hartmann. An excellent recording made in De Doelen in Rotterdam and produced by Cybele.

During 2006, the centenary year commemorating the birth of Shostakovich, Conrad van Alphen held the position of chief conductor in Kislovodsk, Russia. With sound engineer Piotr at his side reading the score of his father and legendary conductor Kiril Kondrashin, Conrad conducts a concert registration of the monumental 7th Symphony of Dmitry Shostakovich “Leningrad”.
With the famous guitar duo “Katona Twins” Conrad recorded the Concerto Madrigal by Rodrigo for Channel Classics. This disc was not only excellently reviewed but was editors choice in the Gramophone Magazine.
On the well known label Telarc Conrad recorded the famous serenades and suites of Grieg, Dvorák and Elgar with the Rotterdam Chamber Orchestra.
